BGB warns Myanmar
Brig Gen Syed Ahmed Ali, a commander of BGB in Chittagong region, came up with the warning while addressing a press briefing at the Naikkhangchhari battalion-31 headquarters of Bandarban.
Meanwhile the first namaz-e-janaza of BGB member Mizanur Rahamn, who was shot dead by Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP), will be held at 9:00am tomorrow, BGB Cox’s Bazar Sector Commander Col Khandakar Farid Hasan told The Daily Star.
Mizanur will be buried at his home village Bholanagar in Debidwar upazila of Comilla tomorrow after his second namaz-e-janaza.

His body was taken to Naikkhangchhari battalion-31 Headquarters in the morning.
Later, the body was sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
The briefing was organised after the body of BGB Nayek Mizanur Rahman was taken to the headquarters in the morning.
At the briefing, the BGB commander announced that Mizanur’s family will be given Tk 5 lakh on behalf of BGB.
The family will get other government facilities as per the rules, he added.
The commander said Myanmar authorities has sent a letter to the BGB to sit for a flag meeting at the country’s Bangdhu district on June 5. “We are yet to decide whether we will join the meeting,” he added.
